Kevin Hunt

Kevin hunt sculpts things out of found objects, and has been practising his art in Liverpool since he graduated.

I cannot figure out if I enjoy Kevin Hunt's work or not yet, I love this piece here mostly due to the way the rings look printed onto a photograph instead of pressed up against the wall.. The contrast that the black makes against the white/grey walls is really nice too.. This has made me really want to try and print simple things over my drawings or photographs and see what happens.. I didn't really like much of his other work because it is way too simple for me, I don't understand the fascination with most modern artists at the moment, this has however made me want to stop being so stuck in my ways with my drawings.
