I have recently found that I actually really enjoy creating colourful, abstract pieces, this has been inspired from Picasso after watching numerous documentaries about him on YouTube before bed. I love being able to create such vibrant pieces with lots to look at out of a simple still life. I move around the still life and draw simple geometric marks to represent the still life, then change angle over and over again.. I really enjoy this technique and I think it is something that I will continue to do a lot in my practice, I want to try and do this technique but using a face instead of a wine glass and bottle ect.. I really feel like this technique has made me become more free in my work than i ever have been before.
