Today I went to the Walker Art Gallery in attempt to get some inspiration to do some drawings, I would have liked to go to the Tate Gallery but as a newbie here I really didn't want to get lost.
I did enjoy looking at all of the old sculptures and renaissance art work but it really isn't my style at all- I prefer much more contemporary work. Regardless, here is one that really interested me!

Now, if anybody knows me they know, I love goats. This marble sculpture of a goat fascinated me because it is so life-like. Considering this sculpture has been done hundreds of years ago the detail is absolutely amazing- It really brings the Goat to life. It did not inspire my work but it is something that really caught my eye so I thought I would add.
